Manda Eatery
Former food stylist Amanda Christensen spent years composing plates for the camera. At Manda, they're finally made to be eaten. Run alongside her sister Johanne, the café is devoted to the everyday rituals—coffee in the morning sun, fresh sourdough with something worth spreading on it, and one last glass of wine in the courtyard before heading home.
Breakfast belongs to Turkish eggs doused in chili oil with crispy chickpeas and dill, or an abundant morning plate of sourdough, whipped butter, Vesterhavsost, fennel salami, and a soft-boiled egg. By lunch, hot honey toast layered with stracciatella, Parma ham, and pickled artichokes comes into focus, while miso banana bread works at any hour. Ceremonial matcha, house ginger-thyme lemonade, natural wines, and local beers are always within reach.
Everyday moments deserve a place like this.
