This Latin Quarter taproom was the first ÅBEN bar ever opened, and it remains the place where the brewery's vision pours most freely. What began as a small-batch operation has grown into one of Denmark's defining breweries, and nowhere in the country will you find more of it than here.

The core range is always close at hand: generously hopped IPAs, full-bodied stouts, and sours. Beyond that, expect everything from Table for Four, a crisp West Coast IPA loaded with tropical notes and a piney finish, to Costa Del Fanø, a thick, juicy Smoothie Sour that drinks like summer in a glass. Friends of the house make guest appearances, including Insight Cellars’ barrel-aged wild ales.
