Set inside a former CF Møller-designed steel factory, Carter is where good taste extends from FRAMA shelving to the coffee in your cup. Downstairs, an industrial café. Upstairs, a curated boutique. Both are the work of mother-and-daughter duo Dorthe and Natasja Skou, who left luxury retail to create the city's sharpest hangout.
Every bite and every pour earns its place in their thoughtfully edited world. Pastries and sourdough from Berta Bageri: sourdough buns with whipped butter and Gammel Knas, Friis-Holm pain suisse, and chocolate chip cookies. Yogurt topped with house-made granola and vanilla-infused olive oil. Creamy matcha. Ham-and-cheese croissant toasties. Natural wines and local beers best enjoyed on the sprawling sun-soaked terrace.
