TIPSTER HAS GOT 'THE SCOOP' AND WE'RE SHARING IT WITH YOU
The team behind Diamond Slice is once again infusing the Danish food scene with Italian-American flair. But this time, it’s not about the New York slice – it’s about the timeless red-sauce joint. Opening this fall in Amager, Martini House will serve up classics like penne alla vodka, shrimp scampi, and chicken parm.
A new chapter in Copenhagen’s café culture is about to unfold in Frederiksberg. Chef Frederik Bille Brahe is bringing his iconic Atelier September to the corner of Gammel Kongevej and H.C. Ørsteds Vej. The opening date is still under wraps, but some things are certain: mountains of whipped butter, minimalist plates, and that unmistakable Atelier September touch.
One of Copenhagen’s few dining institutions with over a century of history is set for a fresh chapter this May. Though the old Gammel Strand fish market is long gone, the restaurant’s timeless charm remains, soon fully renovated under 30-year-old chef Andreas Ring Kjeldsholm Hansen, whose résumé includes Dragsholm Slot and the two-Michelin-starred Vollmers. Next door, the former fish butcher shop will reopen as a casual all-day spot—pastries, coffee, and open sandwiches by day, a wine bar by night—making Krogs a destination from morning through evening.
