Wild Horses is back. After months of anticipation, Dane Hirsinger and Sigurrós Eiðsdóttir reopen their Sydhavnen café, where coffee, food, and art spill into the adjoining gallery. Doors stay open, drawing in creatives, regulars, and anyone chasing dialed-in coffee and satisfying plates.

In the kitchen, things have expanded: soft-boiled eggs with whipped butter, sourdough, and house-made ferments and jams. Daily sandwiches are layered with muhammara, confit leeks, and pomegranate molasses. And yes—the grilled cheese is back, stacked with Vesterhavsost, Comté, chili jam, and pickled onions. Espresso pulls a chocolatey house roast, while filter rotates through international roasters.

Excellent coffee and from-scratch cooking are here to stay.
